We had a rare good snowfall here and I promised myself if it snowed I would take Kya out for some appropriate setting pictures. The sun on the snow was so bright I could barely keep my eyes open.
Kya is Katara and Sokka's mom. She's fully seen in Book 3: The Southern Raiders

A bit about this costume: It's a warm one. I've braved many a summer con in it. But if I stay inside and don't go running about it can be comfortable enough.
Dragon*Con 2010 I was sitting with some friends when a random fellow walked up and asked for a picture for his friend. Turns out the friend was Bryan Koneitzko. The fellow said Bryan would be so happy to know that people were cosplaying from Avatar and that he was sending it to him right now.
I smiled so hard my cheeks hurt.
